Dr. Lamia joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in August 2009. She is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and cares for her patients at Main Campus and our Clear Lake - Gemini location.
Professional Background
After graduating from medical school at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in 2005, Dr. Lamia completed her internship at Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. In 2009, she completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency with the Baylor College of Medicine/The University of Texas program.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Lamia’s clinical interests include the following:
- Orthoses
- Amputee/prosthetics
- Treating the root cause of neck and back pain to provide long term relief in addition to short-term pain control
- Running-related injuries
- Problems associated with brain injuries, such as spasticity management and memory impairment
- Spinal cord injury medicine
